It was celebration galore at Mbanese Community on the 2nd of January 2021, as Nollywood actress Queen Happiness Somma Okika, emerged winner of the 4th edition of Miss Mbanese Beauty Pageant. The year 2021 colourful event which was marked in the memory of late Queen Evan Okoli the Miss Mbanese Tourism of 2019, who died of Breast Tumor, witnessed unprecedented mammoth crowd that turned out to support their candidates, while enjoying and entertaining themselves and catching their fun in the euphoria of the new year celebration.

The Miss Mbanese 2021 pageant, produced Queen Chinwendu Okafor Ebenator (Miss Mbanese Tourism 2021) as the 1st runner up, and Queen Chinwendu Ezeutulu (Miss Mbanese Culture 2021) from Utuh as the 2nd Runner up. 

The outgoing Miss Mbanese 2020, Queen Stella Nkemneme with her counterpert Queen Juliet Ezenwa (Miss Mbanese Tourism & Culture 2020) including King Frank Ngoka (Okpara Mbanese & Mr Mbanese 2020) were present to crown the newly emerged winners of the year 2021 event.

The event which took place at the Tripple Fish Events Centre, Utuh, Nnewi South LGA Anambra state, was Sponsored by NELMACO GLOBAL RESOURCES LTD (Manufacturer of UPVC PIPES) with it's head office located in Jos, Plateau State had nine maidens contesting for the Prestigious Mbanese Beauty Crown.

Speaking to Osumenyi Blog at the occasion, the Chief Executive Officer of Elephant Town Entertainment, Engr Jovita Melolo - Melata Jnr Ogboloagha (JMO), organizers of the event, stated that, this year's outing was very exceptionally remarkable, because it was used to immortalize the late Queen Evan Okoli who until her death was a great daughter and ambassador of Mbanese. Engr. Jovita stated that Miss Mbanese Beauty pageant is aimed at enhancing self empowerment, discovering talents and potentials, promoting Mbanese Culture & Girl child education where maidens from Akwaihedi, Ebenator, Ezinifite, Osumenyi & Utuh (the five Communities that made up Mbanese) of Nnewi South LGA, come together annually in a celebration atmosphere  to entertain themselves, learn and interact on issues concerning the ancient Community.

The CEO of the ELEPHANT TOWN ENTERTAINMENT, a Lagos based all-around Entertainment Managers, Event organisers and Promoters, as well as record label company thanked all Mbanese illustrious sons and daughters who have contributed financially and otherwise to the success of the event from inception of the Pageant till date. The Elephant Town entertainment boss specially appreciated the royal fathers for their moral, fatherly supports and blessings. He advised other maidens that didn't make it to wearing the Crown, to continue to be focused, since there is always a next time in every competition. 

The event was Chaired by Barr. Fabian Onwughalu (Former President, Ohanaeze Ndigbo Lagos Chapter) with Hon. Emmanuel Ukaegbu of All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) as Special Guest, Chief Nnaemeka Onuzulike (Chairman, Iron dealers Ass. Atani Rd Onitsha) among other dignataries including; past Beauty personalities, Queen Ifeoma Jennifer Agbaraka (Miss Osumenyi 2020), Queen Chisom Nwanagu Udokwu (Face of Osumenyi 2020) and King Chisom Igbokwe (Mr Osumenyi 2020 & Okpara Osumenyi 2020)
