PREPAREDNESS TOWARDS EMBER MONTHS

In continuation of the efforts of Federal Road Safety Corps towards creating a safe motoring environment and clearing obstructions off our highways, the FRSC Anambra State Command has continued to intensify efforts in Traffic Control. 

This was displayed during the DAY 4, of their special Operation tagged; SPECIAL INTERVENTION TRAFFIC CONTROL (SITC) Code named "IGAZI NJEM UGBOALA"  when the DCC Operations of the Command led the team to the field, in the operation which was supervised by the Sector Commander, Corps-C, Adeoye Irelewuyi.

Pictures, show officers and men in control of the traffic at the Amawbia junction, kwata, Aroma and Immigration junctions respectively, during a well coordinated outing which took place 24th September.

According to a release by the acting Public Education Officer of the Sector, Margaret Onabe, it says the exercise is aimed at tackling gridlock and other traffic challenges on the highway within the Ember months and especially during rush hours ■ END
