Manufacturers Association of Nigeria, MAN, Southeast Chair visits Soludo

The Chairperson, Southeast Chapter of Manufacturing Association of Nigeria, MAN, Lady Ada Chukwudozie within the week paid a courtesy visit on the Anambra State Governor, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo at the Government house Awka.

Speaking during the visit, Lady Ada Chukwudozie said the Manufacturers Association of Nigeria is very excited to have Professor Chukwuma Soludo at the helm of affairs in Anambra State, at this auspicious socio-political-economic period in the history of the country, expressing confidence that the State will in the nearest future witness a better Anambra.

She stated that, the Southeast Chapter of the Manufacturers Association of Nigeria will partner Governor Soludo and his administration on his manufacturing and strategic job creation policies of the State government to achieve its economic agendas in line with MAN's vision of being key drivers for industrialization and sustainable economic development in Nigeria.

Lady Chukwudozie said her call on Prof. Soludo was to seek the governor's blessings, cooperation and ways of collaboration with the State, stating that, that was her first official outing since she assumed as the Chairperson of MAN Southeast Chapter.  

The MAN S/E Chapter Chairperson explained that government cannot develop the state alone without a significant input and synergy with organized private sector, saying that the only way government can boost development through job and wealth creation is to provide a roburst, enabling and convivial environment for manufacturers to operate.

Lady Ada Chukwudozie expressed profound appreciation to the Anambra State Governor, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo for receiving her and entourage within a short notice, promising to do all within her ability to properly position MAN and their activities in the Southeast during her tenure.

In his response, Governor Soludo welcomed Lady Ada Chukwudozie on her visit to the Government House and congratulated her for unequalled fit as the first female Chairperson of the Manufacturers Association of Nigeria Southeast Chapter, saying that the he is extending hands of collaboration between Anambra State Government and MAN for improved effective productivity and overall development of the State.

Governor Soludo explained that manufacturers are critical stakeholders in any developing society, promising that his administration will provide MAN and all other sectors, a conducive environment to thrive, so as to encourage local and international investors.

The Governor expressed readiness of the State government to partner any investor willing to promote job and wealth creation for Ndi Anambra emphasizing the need for the people of the State to patronize made in Anambra products.

Governor Chukwuma Soludo expressed confidence that with Lady Ada Chukwudozie, drawing from her wealth of knowledge, years of experience in the manufacturing industry and family orientation, he has no doubt of her delivering qualitative dividends in her new mandate ■END
