 IZUNASO: Best Prepared for Senate President, 10th Assembly.

The greatest game of right positioning done by Ndi Orlu and the entire Igbo nation is the support and vote for the emergence of Sen. Osita Bonaventure Izunaso, as the elected Senator for Imo West Senatorial District in the just concluded 2023 national Assembly elections.

Sen. Izunaso's emergence made him the first of the two Senators from Southeast Nigeria, that were re-elected on the platform of the APC, the majority Party of the coming 10th Senate. 

By principle of Equity, Federal character and Political position balancing, South East, arguably without arguments, is meant to produce Senate President; hence, naturally narrowing down the race to the two ranking senators, Sen. Osita Izunaso and Sen. Orji Uzor Kalu of Abia State.

While the capacity of Sen. Orji Uzor Kalu cannot be undermined, as former two term governor and Political rhinoceros of Eastern region, whose penchant for nourishing strategic relationship across the Savannah belts of the country is clearly manifest, it will however be very right and boldly stating the obvious, that, Sen. Osita Izunaso is well packaged for the plum job and deserves the support of all, including from Dr Orji Uzor Kalu.

Realising that, while Sen. Orji Uzor Kalu was the governor of Abia State, 1999 - 2007, Sen. Osita Izunaso was in the Federal House in 2003 - 2007. He upgraded to the Senate in 2007 - 2011 and therefore has significant network with the same creme de la cremé of the Political class. Added to that is, Izunaso's strategic role as National Organising Secretary of the APC, which placed him strategically in the limelight within the APC oligarchic core.

Fortunately, the President-elect Sen. Ahmed Bola Tinubu is well known for right placement of ably qualified individuals into strategic positions. He is known for promoting placing square pegs in square holes and therefore, he wouldn't want to use the position of Senate President as allocation of compensation of sort, to someone, only on grounds of being a Political crony.

Dist. Sen. Osita Izunaso has litany of Qualifications. Holds Bachelor of Arts, BA Hons Degree, English and Linguistics Studies, Unijos, PGD Journalism, IIJ Abuja, Masters in Business Administration, MBA, Unical, Bachelor of Laws, B.L, with Second Class Honours, Upper division, Nile University Abuja, graduating with First Class Honours and was the best graduating student of the faculty; LL.B in Law Nigerian Law school Abuja, Masters in Law, LLM, Baze University Abuja, and now he is pursuing his Doctorate Degree in Maritime Law, Nile University, Abuja.

Sen. Osita Izunaso is a member of notable Institutions such as Nigeria Institute of Public Relations, NIPR, Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ, and others.

His ability to maintain good relationship with Political associates regardless of pressure in diverse interests, makes him widely acceptable in high places. Izunaso is not given to opposing interests but very calm and articulate. He understands the science of synergy and the need of maintaining line of trust and friendliness. Sen. Osita Izunaso is a bridge builder of repute, an acceptable personality across regions and therefore understands the stakes in national interest and power equation. He can be very central and could be the instrument of systemic integration needed for strategic integration of ndi Igbo in the coming 10th Assembly, an inclusive dynamic which is only achievable through uncommon characters like him. Sen. Osita Izunaso, sure, is the best bet for Senate President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria for the 10th Senate.

Sen. Osita Izunaso is an answer to the question that was put up in 2015, which inquired about Igbo legislator in the national Assembly with ranking grade and of the majority party extraction, where none was found. Now he has all the requirements and acceptability; and therefore his support to assume the position of Senate President is a call for placement of square peg in square hole.

Arise o compatriots ... let's harmoniously obey Nigeria's call for the journey into greater Political solution, through entrenching the right person to assume the seat of the SENATE PRESIDENT of the 10th Assembly, Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Barr. Osita Bonaventure Izunaso is the face of the new Political reality for equity, fairness political inclusiveness and balancing, sustainable peace and harmony for our entire great nation, Nigeria.
