Umahi Celebrates SGF, George Akume @70, Describes him as an accomplished Leader

The minister of works, Sen. Engr David Umahi has felicitated with the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Sen. George Akume, on the occasion of his Platinum Birthday celebration.

In a statement signed by Engr Umahi, the Hon. Minister of Works described Sen. George Akume as an accomplished leader who has endeared himself to leadership, and passionate in service

Engr Umahi remarked that Senator George Akume's 70th Birthday calls for a Celebration of an enduring life and journey of a true leader, who has marked tremendous milestones in service to humanity.

According to the Hon Minister Of Works, 

"I heartily convey my profound felicitations to a rare accomplished leader of inestimable value, His Excellency, Senator George Akume, CON, Secretary to the Government of the Federation, on this auspicious occasion of the Platinum Jubilee celebration of his birthday, this 27th December, 2023."

"Your Excellency, this anniversary is extraordinarily special and therefore calls for a celebration of the enduring journey of your life as a leader who has marked tremendous milestones in the service to humanity."

"In all your public and private life endeavours, you have remained endearingly steadfast in leadership, and passionate in service.  You served meritoriously as the Governor of Benue State for 8 years, as Minister of Special Duties and Inter-Governmental Affairs, and today, you are making us proud as the Secretary to the Government of the Federation.  As you step into your new age, full of experience, I pray God to continue to bless and prosper you with sound health and mind, for you to continue your good works for the greatness of our nation"
