IKEDURU SOLAD INTERFACES WITH IKEDURU HEALTH WORKERS, 

...Reminds them of punctuality and dedication to duty.

A successful leader is one whose vision, passion, determination and actions has the propensity of inspiring and encouraging others to do more in their field of endeavors.

This is the lot of the Sole Administrator of Ikeduru Local Government Area, Rt Hon Justice Nze 

The SolAd had on Friday 5th of July 2024 summoned all the Health Workers in the local government area to address them, having noticed some unethical behaviours in the discharge of their respective duties.

The council boss said he had no apology for being late to venue of the meeting because by the time he was ready for the meeting at 11am as scheduled, only about eight out of eighty-seven staff were present there at the venue. This left him with no option than to continue with his own duties, attending to people, in his office.

Rt. Hon. Nze condemned in totality the I-don't-care attitude some Workers exhibit in their respective places of work. He urged them to be punctual and dedicated to their duties. He said he has taken note of some lousy Workers who don't take their work seriously. He also urged them to be sincere and diligent workers and assured them that a day of reward is quite approaching.

He announced that the clock-in, clock-out exercise for all the staff of the Council has commenced so as to checkmate some lazy and unscrupulous staffers who believe they will not work but would receive their salaries. He assured them that, he would carry out this exercise to the letter.

The Council Boss reassured them of the Governor's desire to ensure their welfare at all times. He directed that all Health Workers should see their job as a life-saving one and not underestimate it.

The officer in charge of Iho Dimeze Health Center, amongst others was overjoyed and said that Rt. Hon. Justice Nze was the first Local Government Boss, either elected or appointed to invite and parley with them in this convivial this manner.

She said this singular act has gained the SolAd a pass mark before the health workers in Ikeduru Local Government Area.

She went ahead to thank the SolAd for his gentle disposition in addressing them, not like a ruler but like a leader with prospect. She uses the medium to highlight some of the challenges facing the Health Centers among which was lack of Patients Cards in the centres which debar the council of the necessary revenue which should have accrued to it which the SolAd assured he has taken note of.

In her reaction, the wife of the SolAd and the Chair person of Ikeduru Local Government Area, Mrs Chidinma Justice-Nze urged the workers to be dedicated to their duties and said they should see their work as a spiritual work and not relent.

In their prayers, the Health Workers prayed God to sustain the SolAd, his lovely wife and his family and give him more wisdom to pilot all that concerns Ikeduru Local Government Area. END
